TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. All participants must be individuals, who are 18 years old or over and have been resident in Barbados for three (3) years or more. Banks (Barbados) Breweries Ltd. reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all participants.
2. All participants must complete their entries using their legal name and their current address. Entries that are illegible, have been altered, incomplete or completed using a participant’s alias will be deemed to be null and void.
3. All entries completed by a third party on behalf of another person or nominee will be deemed to be null and void.
4. Banks (Barbados) Breweries Ltd. and their representatives reserve the right, in their discretion to declare null and void any entries determined illegal and/or in breach of these terms and conditions.
5. Banks (Barbados) Breweries Ltd. and their representatives do not accept any responsibility if the winning participant is not able to claim the prize.
6. Disbursement of the prize will be carried out by a Banks (Barbados) Breweries Ltd. employee.
7. The winning participant must claim the prize in person as the prize may not be claimed by a third party on behalf of the winning participant.
8. The prize is not transferable for either cash or alternative items.
9. The prize is not negotiable or transferable and the winning participant will take the prize as is.
10. Prizes for the Banks “Start the Year on a High Note” campaign consist of:
    • 1^st Prize: One (1) year of bills paid up to $54,000, inclusive of electricity, water, rent/mortgage, groceries, petrol and natural gas.
    • 2^nd Prize: Six (6) months’ worth of natural gas & supermarket vouchers valued at $9,600.
    • 3^rd Prize: Six (6) months’ worth of groceries valued at $4,800.
      Prizes are limited to a set amount allocated for each prize category.
11. Employees of Banks Holdings Limited or any associated companies of Banks Holdings Limited, participating retailers, persons who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration and their immediate family or household members are not eligible.
12. Winner(s) may be requested to take part in promotional activity and Banks (Barbados) Breweries Ltd. and their representatives reserve the right to use the name(s) and address(es) of winner(s) in any form of publicity.
13. Participation in this promotion constitutes a participant’s full and unconditional agreement to these rules.
14. Banks (Barbados) Breweries Ltd. and their representatives reserve the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the competition and/or these terms where it in its sole discretion considers it necessary to do so.
